A must have to the lab
Simple, but Superior Product!! Let me count the ways! (*use of the Count's voice from Sesame Street is optional but encouraged.) #1) Ease of use is exceptional. No need to stretch these lid covers out of shape, because they fit perfectly. #2) Saves time and money! That statement is Always music to my ears! No more wads of aluminum foil to clean up. I can slip the covers on 4 jar lids in the same time I could tear foil to size. #3) Better for the environment. The amount of waste these eliminate is no joke. I can't stand waste, so this is a no brainer. #4) They work exactly as advertised. No more water droplet sitting on the air exchange filter like when foil was used. #5) I was so pleased with the wide mouth lid covers, I've already ordered a set of the standard size lid covers. They should be here in a couple days. (*Cue: Thunder) Even if you are sterilizing on the smallest of scales, you will thank yourself for having a bunch of these little beauties on hand!
They are nice way better then tinfoil.and good enough I had to buy another batch for my pc .Definitely worth it .

So simple, yet so useful! No more running through crazy amounts of tin foil. Plus, it’s less time consuming than using the foil. So far, the ones I bought seem to be holding up through the PC just fine and I have had no issues with water getting through. One of these lil guys costs about the same price as a roll of foil and will last much longer while producing less waste.

These work great. I bought them for my metal lids but I can confirm they will also work with the plastic lids. Just have to stretch them a little bit more. I found these on other sites for about twice as much. These are definitely worth it.
I get a lot of water under these, kinda defeats the purpose but I still use them regardless with zero issues or contamination.

Wish it came down below cap a little more. I use plastic caps and there bulkier then the metal ones. I leave them cracked a little for air exchange. Also would be nice to leave a bubble in the cap for the red raised filters when used.

They look well-made and passed my first pressure-cooking test, but it didn't protect the micropore tape on the lid, which was unfortunately soaked, defeating the whole intention. That was disappointing ... It doesn't really fit fully over wide-mouth lids, I found it barely covered the height of the plastic reusable lid (ball brand). I tried it on an unmodified lid as well as on the lids I have with injection ports, and it didn't quite sit on the lids properly. The regular mouth versions may be better, I don't know.
I like these because they allow me to skip using aluminum foil during the sterilization process. Thank you.

I use these Silicone Jar Lid Covers to keep from using so much aluminum foil. They fit canning jar lids very snugly and have small vent hole in their center. And after several cycles thru the PC, they still are fitting as good as the first time that I used them.
